Getting help
Email support@landmarkhabits.com. Include your iPhone model and iOS version, and describe what you expected to happen and what happened instead. We read every message.
That one address covers everything: how the app works, a question about the Privacy Policy, a question about the Terms.
What Landmark does
You choose the daily inputs you control, such as bedtime, protein, Zone 2 minutes, a caffeine cutoff or morning sunlight. Then you set goals for the outcomes you care about, like HRV, sleep quality or body composition. Landmark reads those outcomes from Apple Health and shows you how your daily inputs relate to them. Everything stays on your iPhone.
Connecting Apple Health
Landmark asks for Apple Health access the first time it needs it, and you decide which categories to grant. To change that later, open the Health app and go to Sharing → Apps → Landmark, or Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Landmark.
Landmark asks for read access only. It never writes anything into Apple Health. Granting less means fewer inputs it can track automatically, not a broken app.
Questions that come up
Why does an input show no progress?
Two things to check. First, Landmark can only count what is in Apple Health, so confirm the source app or device has actually written today's data there. Open the Health app and look at the metric directly. Second, check that Landmark has permission to read that metric, in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Landmark.
Apple Health deliberately does not tell an app the difference between "you denied this" and "there is nothing here," so Landmark cannot warn you that a permission is missing. It just sees no data.
Can I change how often a target repeats?
Yes, that is the point of the cadence. Any input can be measured per day, per week, or per month, and the number goes with the window: 30 minutes of Zone 2 a day and 150 a week are different targets, not the same one restated.
Why is a target amber?
Amber means the run is behind an even pace for its window, not that you have failed it. A weekly target is amber on Wednesday if you have banked less than Wednesday's share of it. The figure next to it is what is still left.
Does Landmark work without an Apple Watch?
Yes. Landmark reads Apple Health, not any particular device. An iPhone alone records steps, distance and flights climbed. Anything else that writes to Health counts the same way, whether that is a third-party watch, a scale or a food-logging app.
Can I track something Apple Health does not have?
Not in this version. Every input Landmark measures today reaches it through Apple Health, so anything no app or device writes there — sauna, a stressful day, travel, a supplement — cannot be tracked yet. Hand-logged inputs are built and held back for a later release.
Where is my data?
On your iPhone, and only there. See Health Data for the detail, or the Privacy Policy for the binding version.
How do I delete everything?
Delete the app. Its database is local, so removing the app removes all of it.
I want to request a feature.
Send it to support@landmarkhabits.com. Requests that name the behavior you are trying to track are the most useful kind.
