Landmark reads Apple Health, not Strava directly. Once Strava is sending to Health, your activities reach Landmark with nothing else to link.
What Strava sends to Apple Health
From Strava's help page, Apple Health and Strava, read October 10, 2026: "Strava will automatically send route information, activity type, distance, time, and calories to Apple Health." In other words, each activity arrives as a workout.
The habits it fills in Landmark
| Landmark habit | From |
|---|---|
| Workouts | Each activity, as a workout |
| Strength | Activities recorded as strength training |
| Running distance | The distance on your runs |
What it does not send
Strava's page names workouts and nothing else: no steps, no all-day heart rate, no sleep. Landmark's Cycling distance and Swimming distance habits read Apple Health's own cycling and swimming distance, which Strava's page does not say it writes, so a ride logged only in Strava may not count there. Your watch or phone may fill those habits instead.
Set it up
- In Strava, open You, then settings, Manage Apps and Devices, Health, and connect. Allow Workouts & Routes, then turn on Send to Health.
- Open Landmark and allow it to read workouts.
Worth knowing
- Strava says routes recorded by another company's device, such as Garmin, are not passed on to Health.
- If your watch also writes the same activity to Health, it may appear twice. Sending from one app only avoids that.
- Landmark only reads. It never writes anything back to Health.
